I draws inspiration from the subtle contrast between the beauty of nature and the genuine fear it can evoke. In my view, people are capable of finding pleasure in something that also frightens them—in fact, they are often drawn to seek out this very sensation. This fundamental, instinctive emotion, the kind that gives rise to goosebumps, is what I aim to capture and recreate in my images.

I am particularly fascinated by the unheimliche quality that nature can possess—something that feels both familiar and unsettling at the same time. Through my work, I explore this duality while also searching for solace and comfort in nature, hoping it can provide what I sometimes feel is missing: emotion.
